Description

At 77cm tall in our Short size, this wall light holds a compact vertical footprint that suits a hallway, a bedside run or a narrow stretch of wall where a broader fitting would crowd the space. It measures 18.5cm deep and 16.2cm wide, projecting just far enough to cast light without getting in the way, and it weighs 3kg. The form is quietly geometric: two short glass tubes held upright between fittings on a wall plate, a design we like for the way it frames light rather than hiding it behind a shade.

We finish this one in polished steel, a bright, reflective tone that picks up the daylight and the warmth of the bulbs alike. The tubes are glass, the fittings and plate are steel, and there is a PMMA element in the build, so the whole thing reads clean and precise up close. Because the two tubes sit vertically and openly, the light travels both up and down the wall, which softens the edges of a room and gives you a gentle wash rather than a single hard pool. It settles well against a painted wall, tiling or a papered surface, and pairs neatly with the Short proportions we have chosen here.

Each wall light takes two GU10 bulbs, max 15W LED, which are not included so you can pick the colour temperature that suits your room; it is also compatible with our Focused Idea bulb, sold separately.
