The Lanza is a 387mm-wide semi-flush ceiling light built around an interlocking geometric frame of brushed bronze metal rectangles that wrap a rectangular linen fabric shade. Three E27 bulb fittings inside the shade (bulbs sold separately) cast light through both the linen panels and a frosted acrylic diffuser beneath, distributing illumination across the ceiling plane and down into the room below.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 2.7m where a full pendant drop would hang too low, the 267mm fixture height positions the light close to the ceiling without sitting flush against it. The semi-flush format suits hallways, bedroom centres, dining rooms in lower-ceiling properties, and living rooms where a pendant might obstruct sightlines. The rectangular footprint of the shade and frame gives directional presence on the ceiling rather than a circular profile.

The brushed bronze finish on the geometric frame provides a warm metallic accent that pairs with both warm-toned timber interiors and cooler grey or white schemes. The linen fabric shade softens the light output and hides the bulbs from direct view when standing beneath the fitting, while the interlocking bronze rectangles create shadow patterns on the ceiling when the light is on. What bulbs does the Lanza take?

The fitting takes three E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, each up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with three warm-white LED bulbs between 8-10W and 2700K-3000K for general room lighting.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 267mm drop positions the light close to the ceiling without sitting flush, making it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. It provides better downward light distribution than a flush-mount while avoiding the longer drop of a full pendant.

What room size does it suit?

The three-bulb configuration provides sufficient illumination for rooms of 12-16m² (roughly 3.5m x 4.5m) when fitted with appropriate LED bulbs. Larger rooms may need additional fittings or wall lighting to avoid dark corners.

Can the fabric shade be cleaned?

The linen shade can be dusted with a soft brush or microfibre cloth. For more thorough cleaning, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the fabric. The acrylic diffuser beneath can be wiped with a damp cloth and dried.
