Description

This pendant follows a classic school house shape, hanging a rounded opal glass shade beneath a neat polished nickel fitting. The opal glass gives a soft, even light with no harsh glare, while the 300mm shade keeps a tidy scale over a work surface or a table. It drops between 450mm and 1520mm, takes a single E27 lamp and is dimmable, so it runs happily on LED filament bulbs. Together it makes a simple, enduring pendant with a gently retro feel.

It is a natural choice for a kitchen, above a breakfast bar or over a dining table, and looks just as good hung on its own or lined up in a set of three. The polished nickel and opal glass suit both traditional and modern kitchens, giving a clean, classic line that does not date. Because the light is soft and even, it works well where you want practical, comfortable lighting for cooking, eating or gathering around a table with family and friends.

The fitting is polished nickel plated metal, and the shade is opal glass for a diffused glow. A 1.2 metre black fabric flex sets the height, and the pendant is dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer. A matching semi-flush is also available if you need a lower-profile option elsewhere.
