Description

This pendant takes a classic school house shape and finishes it in warm brass, hanging a rounded glass shade beneath a neat plated fitting. You can choose a clear glass shade for a bright, open look or an opal glass shade for a softer, diffused glow. The 300mm shade keeps a tidy scale, and the pendant drops between 450mm and 1520mm. It takes a single E27 lamp, is dimmable and runs on LED filament bulbs, making a simple pendant with a gently retro character.

It suits a kitchen, a breakfast bar or a dining table, and hangs just as well solo or grouped in a set of three. The brass finish brings a little warmth to both traditional and modern kitchens, while the choice of clear or opal glass lets you tune the light to the room. Clear glass shows off a filament lamp and gives a crisper feel, while opal softens the glow, so you can match the pendant to how you use the space day to day.

The fitting is brass plated metal, and the shade is clear or opal glass depending on your choice. A 1.2 metre black fabric flex sets the drop, and the pendant is dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer. A matching semi-flush is also available for spots that need a lower profile. Wipe the glass and metal with a soft, dry cloth. We call this piece the Kedleston, part of a wider range of coordinating lighting for the home.
