Description

The Jenkins is a table lamp built around a curved polished nickel arm that arcs from a circular base up and over a 330mm diameter hardback linen shade. A clear crystal ball sits on the base stem between the plinth and the arm, catching and refracting ambient light when the lamp is both on and off. The lamp takes a single E27 bulb up to 60W (sold separately), housed inside the off-white linen shade.

Designed for bedside tables, side tables in living rooms and desks in home offices, the 622mm overall height positions the centre of the shade at approximately eye level when seated. The arc configuration keeps the bulb and shade offset from the base footprint, allowing the lamp to reach over stacked books, a charging phone or a small bedside clock without casting shadow directly below. The polished nickel finish reflects light cleanly and pairs well with cool-toned fabrics, marble surfaces and mirror frames.

The linen shade diffuses the bulb's output evenly in all directions rather than directing it down like a desk lamp, so the Jenkins functions as ambient and decorative lighting rather than task lighting. The crystal ball accent adds visual weight to the base and prevents the curved arm from reading as top-heavy.
