Description

The Jarras is a 30cm cylindrical glass pendant with a deep ash grey tinted shade suspended inside a polished chrome frame. A single E27 bulb (sold separately) sits centrally within the glass cylinder, casting light through the smoked glass which diffuses and softens the output while reflecting chrome accents back into the room.

Designed for installation over kitchen islands, dining tables and bar counters, the compact 300mm diameter suits single or clustered arrangements where multiple pendants are spaced 400-600mm apart along a run. The adjustable cable drop from 565mm minimum to 2055mm maximum allows the pendant to be set at typical counter clearances of 700-900mm or lowered to 600-700mm above dining tables depending on ceiling height and room proportions.

The ash grey glass has a translucent smoky tone rather than opaque black, so light passes through while the glass itself becomes part of the visual effect when the lamp is on. The polished chrome bands at top and bottom of the cylinder provide structural grip and a reflective accent that pairs with stainless steel appliances, chrome taps and contemporary metallic fixtures. At 4.3kg the pendant requires secure ceiling fixing to a joist or ceiling rose rated for the weight.
