Description

The Isla is a table lamp built around a white gourd-shaped ceramic base with a double-bulb profile, topped with a tapered blue fabric drum shade and polished chrome metal fittings. The lamp takes a single E27 bulb (sold separately) inside the shade, which diffuses light through the blue fabric.

Designed for bedside tables, console tables in hallways, and desks in home offices or bedrooms, the Isla provides task and ambient light at close range. The 430mm total height suits most bedside and side table positions without blocking sightlines across the room. The chrome fittings at the top and base of the ceramic body add reflective accents that catch daylight and artificial light.

The white ceramic base has a high-gloss finish that shows minimal surface texture, contrasting with the softer matte weave of the blue fabric shade. The shade itself is a laminated drum construction, meaning the fabric is bonded to a backing material for structural rigidity rather than being sewn onto a wire frame. This gives the shade clean edges and prevents fabric sag over time. The blue tone is a mid-range powder blue rather than navy or cyan, pairing comfortably with white, grey and neutral interiors.
