Description

The Imaginary is a single pendant light built around an 80mm diameter cylindrical gold canopy that suspends a fringe of fine gold-finished chain strands, each strand catching and reflecting light as it moves. An integrated 5W 3000K LED sits inside the upper canopy, casting warm light downward through the chain fringe to create shifting patterns of light and shadow on surfaces below.

Designed for installation above dining tables, kitchen islands, breakfast bars and in entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the pendant provides decorative accent lighting rather than primary room illumination. The adjustable drop allows the fitting to be set between 92cm and 132cm depending on ceiling height and desired suspension length. The narrow 80mm canopy diameter keeps the ceiling footprint minimal, making the pendant suitable for installation in multiples along a counter or in a row above a longer table.

Each chain strand is finished in a warm gold tone that reads closer to antique brass than polished yellow gold, with enough variation in surface reflectivity to avoid looking flat or uniform when lit. The metal construction and chain weight give the pendant enough mass to hang straight without spinning, though the individual strands will move slightly in air currents from heating, ventilation or passing movement. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor locations away from moisture.

How is the gold finish cleaned?

Wipe the metal canopy and chain strands with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the metal and do not use abrasive cleaners or polishes that could damage the gold finish.
