The Ignitia-2 is a 1070mm linear suspension light built around an integrated 36W LED module casting warm 3000K light in two directions: direct downward output for task lighting and indirect upward wash onto the ceiling for ambient fill. A dedicated switch on the fitting allows the indirect component to be toggled off, giving two output modes without needing additional controls.

Designed for offices, kitchens and living spaces where both task and ambient lighting are needed, the Ignitia-2 suits installation over desks, kitchen islands and dining tables. The 1070mm length covers approximately 1m of worktop or table run, and the 35mm profile keeps a low ceiling presence in rooms with 2.4m heights. The white aluminium housing pairs with contemporary and minimal interiors without drawing attention to the fitting itself.

The dual-LED configuration sits within a shared aluminium extrusion, with the downward-facing LED positioned behind a glare-control louvre to reduce direct view of the light source when seated. The upward-facing LED reflects off the ceiling to provide diffused ambient fill across the room. The combined 36W output delivers functional task lighting without needing auxiliary fittings in many applications, and the IP20 rating allows use in dry indoor environments including bathrooms outside zones 0-2.

No, the integrated LED is not dimmable. The fitting includes a switch to toggle the indirect upward light component on or off, giving two output modes, but the direct downward light cannot be dimmed.

What's the difference between direct and indirect light?

The direct light casts downward through a glare-control louvre onto the surface below, providing task lighting for desks, worktops or tables. The indirect light casts upward onto the ceiling, which reflects it back into the room as diffused ambient fill. The switch on the fitting allows you to run both modes together or direct-only.

What length does it cover over a table or desk?

At 1070mm, the fitting covers approximately 1m of table or worktop run. For longer kitchen islands or desk runs, two or more Ignitia-2 units can be installed end-to-end or with a small gap between them to provide continuous coverage.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

The IP20 rating allows use in dry indoor environments including bathrooms outside zones 0-2. It is not rated for positions directly above a bath, shower or basin where water spray could reach the fitting.
