The Ignitia-1 is a 1070mm linear LED suspension light housing two integrated 36W LED modules at 3000K, configured to provide both direct downward light and indirect upward wash onto the ceiling. The white aluminium body measures 35mm deep by 80mm tall, creating a slim profile that reads as a clean horizontal line when suspended. An integrated switch on the body controls the indirect upward light independently from the direct downward output, allowing the fixture to shift between general ambient lighting and focused task lighting depending on which module is active.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables, home office desks and commercial workspaces, the Ignitia-1 works best over linear surfaces between 1.2m and 1.8m wide where a single unbroken light source is preferred to multiple pendants. The dual-direction output means the ceiling becomes part of the lighting scheme — when the indirect module is switched on, the white ceiling above the fixture acts as a diffuse reflector, lifting the overall light level in the room without adding glare at eye level. Suspended on adjustable cables from a white canopy, the fixture can be set 600-900mm above a worktop or 700-800mm above a dining table depending on ceiling height.

No. The integrated LEDs are not compatible with dimmer switches. The indirect upward light can be switched on and off independently using the integrated switch on the body, but neither the direct nor indirect output can be dimmed.

What does the integrated switch control?

The switch on the fixture body controls only the indirect upward-facing LED. The direct downward-facing LED remains on as long as the fixture has mains power. This allows you to use the fixture in two modes: direct-only for focused task light, or direct-plus-indirect for general ambient lighting with ceiling wash.

What ceiling height and suspension length does it need?

The fixture works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The suspension cables are adjustable on installation, typically set to position the fixture 600-900mm above a worktop or 700-800mm above a dining table. The indirect light needs clearance to the ceiling — a minimum 400mm gap is recommended for the upward wash to function effectively.

Can it be used in bathrooms?
