Description

The Ignis is a 25W LED track spotlight with a CRI90 colour rendering index, producing 3000K warm white light through a single integrated LED module housed in a white powder-coated aluminium body. The spotlight clips onto standard three-phase track systems, allowing repositioning along the track without re-wiring, and rotates 350° on its mounting collar while the head tilts to direct light across wall displays, shelving, counter surfaces or feature areas.

Designed for retail interiors, gallery lighting, showrooms and residential track lighting installations where colour accuracy and light control are priorities, the Ignis pairs 1-10V dimming with the high CRI90 rating to reveal accurate tones in fabrics, artwork, food displays and architectural finishes. The 1-10V dimming protocol provides smooth adjustment from full output down to approximately 10% without flicker, making it compatible with commercial dimming panels and home automation systems that support the 1-10V standard.

The aluminium body is extruded and powder-coated in matt white, presenting as a 265mm-long cylindrical housing with a 76mm projection from the track rail once clipped in. The 154mm height includes the mounting adapter and track clip assembly. The IP20 rating limits the spotlight to dry indoor environments, keeping it away from bathrooms, wet rooms and outdoor canopies. The integrated LED module is rated for 25W input at 3000K colour temperature, delivering warm white light that sits between neutral commercial lighting and the warmer tones of traditional halogen.

The Ignis ships from Ideal Lux, the Italian manufacturer behind the design, and carries a 5-year warranty. Three-phase track rail is sold separately and must be specified to match the voltage and mounting standard of the spotlight.

CRI (Colour Rendering Index) measures how accurately a light source reveals the true colours of objects compared to natural daylight. CRI90 means the Ignis renders colours with 90% accuracy, making it suitable for retail displays, galleries and any application where accurate colour perception is important. Standard LED spotlights often sit at CRI80 or lower.

What dimming system does it use?

The Ignis uses 1-10V dimming, a commercial protocol where a separate low-voltage control wire adjusts the light level. This requires a compatible 1-10V dimmer or control system. It is not compatible with standard domestic phase-cut dimmers without an appropriate interface.

Is the track rail included?

No. Three-phase track rail is sold separately. The Ignis clips onto standard three-phase track systems, allowing the spotlight to be moved and repositioned along the rail without rewiring.

Can it be used outdoors or in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating limits the Ignis to dry indoor environments only. It is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms, kitchens near water sources, or any outdoor application.
