Description

The Ignis is a 15W LED track spotlight from Ideal Lux designed for three-phase track systems, housed in a cylindrical black powder-coated aluminium body. The integrated LED produces 3000K warm white light with a CRI90 colour rendering index, making it suitable for retail, gallery and hospitality installations where accurate colour perception matters. The spotlight head rotates 350° and tilts 90°, allowing light to be aimed at wall displays, ceiling features or floor-level merchandise.

Designed for commercial and residential track lighting installations, the Ignis clips onto standard three-phase tracks without tools and can be repositioned along the track length as needed. The 1-10V dimming protocol allows brightness control when paired with a compatible dimmer and driver, giving control over ambient light levels throughout the day. The 66mm projection from the track keeps the fitting close to the ceiling, useful in retail spaces with lower ceiling heights.

The extruded aluminium construction dissipates heat from the 15W LED array, extending the lifespan of the integrated light source. The black powder coating provides a low-sheen finish that minimises reflections under daylight and pairs with black, white or silver track systems. At 265mm length and 124mm height the Ignis has a more compact profile than many track spotlights in the 15-20W category, making it less intrusive when installed in multiples along the same track run.

What track system does the Ignis fit?

The Ignis is designed for three-phase track systems. It clips onto the track without tools and can be repositioned along the track length. Confirm that your existing track is three-phase before ordering — single-phase and two-circuit tracks require different fittings.

What does CRI90 mean?

CRI90 means the LED has a colour rendering index of 90 or above on a scale of 0-100. This indicates that colours illuminated by this spotlight appear close to how they would under natural daylight, making it suitable for retail displays, art galleries and spaces where accurate colour perception matters.

How is the Ignis dimmed?

The Ignis uses 1-10V dimming protocol. This requires a compatible 1-10V dimmer and driver to be installed in the track system. The spotlight does not dim with standard mains dimmers — the dimming control is handled at the driver level.

Can the spotlight head be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The head rotates 350° horizontally and tilts 90° vertically, allowing the beam to be aimed at different wall positions, ceiling features or floor-level displays. The adjustment joints are firm enough to hold position once set.
