Description

The Ignis is a 15W LED track spotlight built from extruded aluminium with a white powder-coated finish, designed to clip onto standard three-phase track systems. The integrated LED delivers 3000K warm white light with a CRI90 colour rendering index, which reproduces colours closer to how they appear under natural daylight compared to typical CRI80 LEDs.

The spotlight head rotates through 350° on its vertical axis and tilts through 90° on its horizontal pivot, allowing the beam to be aimed at artwork, retail displays, architectural features or work surfaces. The compact 75mm length and 60mm projection suit installations where the track fitting needs to stay visually recessive. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor spaces — living rooms, kitchens, galleries, retail zones and offices.

Three-phase track compatibility means the Ignis clips directly onto existing three-circuit track without requiring new wiring, and multiple Ignis units can be positioned along the same track run and independently aimed. The white finish blends into white or light-coloured ceilings, reducing visual clutter when the spotlight is mounted on exposed track in open-plan spaces. The non-dimmable driver simplifies installation but limits brightness control to switching zones only.

What is CRI90 and why does it matter?

CRI (Colour Rendering Index) measures how accurately a light source reproduces colours compared to natural daylight. CRI90 means the Ignis reproduces 90% of the colour spectrum, making it suitable for retail displays, art galleries and interiors where accurate colour perception matters. Standard LEDs typically rate CRI80.

Is the Ignis dimmable?

No. The integrated LED driver does not support dimming. Brightness control must be handled through switching zones on the three-phase track system itself.

What track systems is it compatible with?

The Ignis fits standard three-phase track systems. It clips onto the track without requiring hardwiring, allowing the spotlight to be repositioned along the track run and independently aimed after installation.

Can it be used in bathrooms or outdoor covered areas?

No. The IP20 rating restricts the Ignis to dry indoor spaces only. For bathrooms, outdoor covered areas or anywhere moisture is present, a higher IP-rated fitting (IP44 or above) is required.
