Description

The Ignis is a 25W LED track spotlight designed for three-phase track systems, housed in a white powder-coated aluminium cylinder measuring 248mm in length and 76mm in diameter. The integrated LED delivers 3000K warm white light at CRI90 colour rendering, making colours appear accurate and natural under the beam — particularly important in retail, gallery and hospitality settings where product or artwork appearance matters.

The spotlight head rotates 350° horizontally and tilts 90° vertically once mounted on the track, allowing precise control over beam direction without repositioning the track itself. This makes the Ignis suitable for accent lighting in retail displays, highlighting architectural features in commercial interiors, or providing adjustable task lighting in kitchens and workshops fitted with three-phase track. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments only.

The extruded aluminium body dissipates heat from the 25W LED without requiring external cooling fins, keeping the profile clean and cylindrical. The matte white powder coat resists fingerprints and blends into white or light-coloured ceilings in contemporary, minimalist and Scandinavian-influenced interiors. The spotlight is dimmable when paired with compatible dimmer switches and track drivers, allowing light levels to be adjusted for different tasks or times of day.

What is three-phase track and is it compatible with standard single-circuit track?

Three-phase track has three separate electrical circuits running through it, allowing different groups of spotlights to be switched or dimmed independently. The Ignis requires three-phase track and will not fit standard single-circuit track systems. Check your existing track type before ordering.

What does CRI90 mean and why does it matter?

CRI (Colour Rendering Index) measures how accurately colours appear under a light source compared to natural daylight. CRI90 means the Ignis renders colours with 90% accuracy, making it suitable for retail displays, art galleries and kitchens where seeing true colours matters. Standard LED spotlights often sit at CRI70-80.

Can the Ignis be dimmed?

Yes, the integrated LED is dimmable. Dimming performance depends on the track driver and dimmer switch used in your installation. For smooth dimming without flicker, pair with a compatible LED-rated dimmer and three-phase track driver.

Can this be used in bathrooms or outdoor covered areas?

No. The IP20 rating means the Ignis is designed for dry indoor use only. It is not suitable for bathrooms, covered outdoor areas or any location where moisture or splashing water is present.
