Description
The Ignis is an 8W LED track spotlight with an integrated warm white 3000K LED housed in an extruded aluminium cylinder finished in white powder coat. The spotlight clips onto three-phase track systems and rotates 350° on its base with 90° tilt adjustment at the lamp head, allowing light to be directed across wall displays, retail merchandise or architectural features.
Designed for retail, gallery, hospitality and residential track lighting installations, the Ignis pairs a compact 75mm length with a focused beam that highlights individual objects or zones without spilling light onto surrounding areas. The three-phase track system allows multiple spotlights to be positioned anywhere along the track run and moved without re-wiring. The IP20 rating suits indoor use in dry environments including shops, art galleries, kitchens and living rooms with track-mounted accent lighting.
The CRI80 colour rendering reproduces colours more accurately than standard LED downlights, making the Ignis suitable for lighting artwork, product displays and interiors where colour accuracy matters. The white powder-coated finish sits cleanly against white ceilings and blends with minimal contemporary interiors, while the cylindrical form keeps the fitting visually compact when multiple units are mounted on the same track. The aluminium body dissipates heat from the integrated LED, which is rated for continuous use without user-serviceable parts.

Frequently Asked
Is the Ignis compatible with standard single-circuit track?
No. The Ignis is designed for three-phase track systems, which use a different connector and wiring configuration from single-circuit domestic track. Confirm your track type before ordering.
Can it be dimmed?
No. The integrated 8W LED is not dimmable. If dimming is required, consider alternative track spotlight models that specify dimmer compatibility.
What beam angle does it produce?
Ideal Lux do not publish a specific beam angle for the Ignis in the supplied data. The compact reflector design suggests a focused accent beam rather than a wide flood, but contact us for confirmation if beam angle is critical to your installation.
How many Ignis spotlights can run on one track circuit?
This depends on the track system's rated load. At 8W per spotlight, a typical 10A three-phase track circuit can support approximately 250W per phase, allowing roughly 30 Ignis units per phase. Consult your track system's specifications and an electrician for circuit load calculations.
