Description

The Ice is a single-light wall fitting with a curving satin nickel arm extending from a 100mm circular backplate, holding a cube-shaped glass shade made from layered frosted and clear glass panels. The shade measures approximately 80mm across each face and refracts light through the multi-layer construction, creating depth and diffusion as the G9 bulb (sold separately) lights the frosted inner layer and clear outer surface.

Designed for bedside positions, hallway accent lighting and lounge areas where switched control matters, the Ice includes a rocker switch on the circular backplate, allowing the fitting to be turned on and off without reaching for a wall switch or pull cord. The 180mm projection from the wall suits positions where the fitting needs to clear a bedframe headboard or sit beside a mirror without casting shadow directly behind the user. The compact 180mm height keeps the fitting low-profile on the wall.

The satin nickel finish provides a mid-tone metallic surface that reads warmer than polished chrome and cooler than brass, pairing comfortably with both warm-toned woods and cooler greys in contemporary and transitional interiors. The layered glass construction gives the Ice a slightly heavier 0.62kg weight than a simple single-pane shade, making the fitting feel substantial once installed.
