Description

The Huevo Oval is a 320mm wide outdoor table lamp moulded from opal white polyethylene in a smooth elongated oval form, housing a single E27 bulb inside the translucent shell. The IP65 rating seals the internal components against dust ingress and water jets from any direction, making the lamp suitable for uncovered patios, pool edges, garden paths and terraces exposed to rain.

Designed as portable ambient lighting for outdoor dining and entertaining, the Huevo sits on flat surfaces without a fixed power connection, drawing from an internal rechargeable battery (charging details in the Specification tab). The 200mm height and 320mm width give the lamp a low profile that sits comfortably on coffee tables, patio side tables and wide wall caps without obstructing sightlines across the garden. The opal polyethylene diffuses the E27 bulb evenly, casting soft omnidirectional light in a 360-degree spread rather than directing it in one axis.

The seamless moulded shell has no visible seams or fixings, presenting as a single carved object when lit or unlit. Polyethylene resists UV degradation and temperature swings better than acrylic or glass equivalents, maintaining colour stability through UK summer sun and winter frost. The 1.6kg weight provides stability in light winds without requiring ballast, though the lamp should be moved indoors or into shelter during storms.
