Description

The Helsingor is a 1000mm bollard lantern in matt black with a single E27 fitting housed behind clear glass panels. The frame is fabricated from 304-grade stainless steel and powder-coated in black to resist corrosion in coastal and high-moisture environments. The IP44 rating protects against water splashes and windblown debris, making the bollard suitable for UK gardens, driveways and pathway edging exposed to rain and frost.

Designed as a pathway marker rather than floodlighting, the Helsingor casts downward and outward light through four vertical glass panels. The clear glass allows the bulb filament to be visible, so pairing with a warm-white LED filament bulb (sold separately) gives a traditional lantern appearance. At 1000mm installed height the light sits below eye level for most adults, reducing glare when walking towards it. The cylindrical column and circular base plate provide stability on paved surfaces, gravel and lawn edging.

The 304-grade stainless steel construction and powder coating are specified for marine and high-salt environments, giving the Helsingor higher durability than standard mild-steel bollards. The 218mm diameter keeps the bollard compact enough for domestic pathways without overpowering the border planting. What bulb does the Helsingor take?

The bollard takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED filament bulb between 4-8W and 2200K-2700K to give a traditional lantern glow through the clear glass panels.
