Our Heart'n'Soul range comes in seven finishes, and the one on this page is Obsidian Black, a deep matt shade that we think reads well against both pale and dark rooms. This is a rectangular dining table set on four tapered legs, measuring 120cm wide and 90cm deep when closed, standing 75.5cm high. It is built from solid oak, MDF and steel, with a FENIX® nanolaminate surface that gives the top its smooth, low-sheen character. At 53kg it is a solid piece, and we would suggest two people for moving it into position.

What makes this table earn its place is the extension. Closed, it seats a smaller gathering comfortably at 120cm; opened out, it reaches 200cm wide, giving you room for extra guests around the ends. This variant ships with two extension plates, so you have the full span available whenever you need it, and additional plates are available separately from us if your needs grow. The FENIX® surface resists everyday fingerprints and scuffs, which we find keeps the Obsidian Black looking clean through busy meals and long afternoons. Assembly takes around 30min, and the fittings mean you should not need specialist tools.
