Steel finished in crisp white forms the slim horizontal bar of our Hazel Branch pendant light, a shape we chose for its calm, unfussy line. Rather than a shade or a cluster of bulbs, this is a single long profile suspended on two textile cords, which lets it read as a quiet feature above a dining table, a kitchen island or a long console. The white steel keeps things light and open, and the built-in LED panel runs the full length so the illumination spreads evenly rather than pooling in one spot. At 100cm wide, 7.2cm high and just 5.4cm deep, it is broad enough to anchor a table yet narrow enough to sit without crowding the space beneath it.

This pendant light is made for daily use as much as for looks. The 24W LED panel gives 1150 lumen at a warm 2700K, a colour temperature we find comfortable over a table where people gather to eat or work. A CRI of 93 means colours on the plate, the page or the worktop stay true, so food and finishes are seen as they actually are. The lamp weighs only 1.8kg, and the range of materials, steel, aluminium and plastic, keeps it structurally sound while easy to hang.
