Description

The Haze is a 735mm diameter semi-flush ceiling light with ten white blown glass diffusers arranged on a matt white metal frame. Each diffuser is made from etched and acid-treated blown glass that creates a frosted, translucent surface, softening the light from the ten E27 bulbs (sold separately) and distributing it evenly across the room.

Designed for living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m, the Haze provides ambient light over a wide spread without needing multiple ceiling fittings. The semi-flush design projects approximately 200mm below the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms where a full pendant would hang too low but a flush fitting would not provide enough light distribution. The fitting is dimmable when paired with dimmable E27 LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.

The white glass diffusers are hand-blown and then etched in acid, giving each one a slightly different surface texture and opacity. The matt white frame provides a clean base that pairs with both white ceilings and contrast colours, and the IP20 rating confirms the fitting is suitable for dry interior spaces only. At 735mm across, the Haze works in rooms of 15-25m², providing enough light spread to replace a central pendant and two side lamps.

Yes. The fitting itself is dimmable, but you must use dimmable E27 LED bulbs and pair them with a compatible LED dimmer switch. Non-dimmable bulbs will not dim and may flicker or fail when used with a dimmer.

The Haze takes ten E27 (Edison screw) bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with 6-10W warm-white LED bulbs at 2700K-3000K for ambient lighting in living and dining rooms.

What ceiling height is needed?

The fitting projects approximately 200mm below the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m. In lower-ceilinged rooms the diffusers may feel too close; in very high-ceilinged rooms a pendant may provide better light distribution.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating confirms this fitting is designed for dry interior spaces only and is not rated for use in bathrooms, kitchens with high moisture, or any outdoor or damp environment.
