Description

The Haven is a 405mm pendant light with a tapered conical shade made from white blown glass, acid-etched to diffuse light evenly through the material. The shade hangs from adjustable steel cables fitted with automatic cable stoppers, allowing the drop to be set during installation to suit ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.5m. A single E27 bulb sits inside the shade (sold separately).

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and living areas where soft ambient light is needed without harsh shadows, the Haven provides 360-degree illumination through the etched glass diffuser. The adjustable cables mean the pendant can be hung 700-900mm above a worktop or dining surface, or higher in rooms with taller ceilings. The IP20 rating restricts it to dry indoor locations only.

The white blown glass is acid-etched on both inner and outer surfaces to eliminate hotspots and create an even glow when lit. The metal frame and ceiling rose are finished in white to match the shade. The 405mm diameter suits rooms with 3-4m widths without overwhelming smaller spaces, and the neutral white finish pairs with both warm and cool interior palettes. Ideal Lux includes a 5-year warranty.

Yes, the pendant accepts any E27 bulb up to 60W and is compatible with dimmer switches. Use a dimmable LED bulb and ensure your dimmer is rated for LED loads to avoid flicker.

What bulb does it take?

The Haven uses a standard E27 Edison screw bulb, sold separately. Most users pair this with a 6-10W LED bulb in warm white (2700K-3000K) for ambient lighting over dining or kitchen surfaces.

How is the drop adjusted?

The steel cables include automatic cable stoppers that lock at the desired height during installation. The cables can be shortened or lengthened to suit ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.5m, with typical installation placing the shade 700-900mm above a table or worktop.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the Haven is suitable for dry indoor locations only and should not be installed in bathrooms, kitchens with heavy steam, or any area subject to moisture.
