Description

The Harper is a 409mm flush ceiling light with a clear seeded glass drum diffuser bound between two heritage brass metal rings, fitted with three E27 bulb sockets (bulbs sold separately). The seeded glass contains small trapped air bubbles that scatter light as it passes through, softening the output from the bulbs and reducing glare when viewed from below. Knurled brass knobs at four points around the circumference hold the glass drum in tension between the upper and lower metal rings.

Designed for rooms with standard 2.4m ceiling heights or lower where a pendant would hang too low, the Harper mounts flush to the ceiling with a total projection of 159mm from ceiling to base. The fitting suits hallways, bedrooms, home offices and landings where general ambient light is needed without the visual drop of a pendant or semi-flush. The 400mm diameter covers a standard UK ceiling rose and distributes light across a 3-4m room without creating a single harsh centre point.

The heritage brass finish is a mid-tone warm brass with a slight antiqued patina, sitting between polished brass and antique brass in colour depth. The seeded glass drum measures approximately 100mm in height between the two brass rings, giving enough depth for the E27 bulbs to sit inside without protruding below the lower glass edge. Each socket takes up to 60W, allowing three 6-10W LED bulbs to deliver 1,800-3,000 lumens combined depending on bulb choice.
