The oxblood glaze gives a glossy, wine-red finish with darker tonal variation where the glaze pools in the curves.

Designed for side tables in living rooms, bedrooms and hallways, the lamp stands 690mm overall with the shade fitted and sits on a 200mm circular base weighted to balance the ceramic column. The off-white polycotton shade diffuses light outward and downward, providing ambient reading light without direct glare. The E27 fitting inside the shade accepts standard Edison screw bulbs up to 60W (sold separately), allowing the user to choose between warm LED, halogen or filament options.

The oxblood ceramic pairs with dark wood furniture, burgundy or navy upholstery, and warm-toned wallpapers in traditional and transitional interiors. The glossy finish reflects light from windows and adjacent lamps, making the base itself part of the room's lighting scheme rather than just the shade. What bulb does it take?

How is the ceramic base cleaned?

The oxblood glaze is ceramic and can be wiped with a damp microfibre cloth. For fingerprints or dust buildup, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water and dry immediately. Avoid abrasive cleaners or polishes that may dull the gloss finish.

Can the shade be replaced?

Yes. The off-white polycotton shade is fitted to a standard E27 shade carrier. Replacement shades with similar fittings can be sourced separately if the original shade becomes damaged or if a different shade style is preferred.
