Description

The Harbin is a 690mm table lamp built around a double-gourd ceramic base in a celadon glaze, topped with a 460mm off-white polycotton empire shade. The base sits on a carved timber plinth finished in dark stain, and the lamp takes a single E27 bulb (sold separately) rated up to 60W. The celadon glaze is a soft grey-green with a crackled surface texture that catches light across the curves of the gourd form.

Designed for bedside tables, console tables and living room side tables, the Harbin provides ambient rather than task lighting. The tall empire shade diffuses the bulb output across a wide radius, making the lamp suited to rooms where soft general light is needed without glare. The 200mm base diameter and timber plinth give the lamp a low centre of gravity, stable on surfaces 400-500mm wide. The overall height works on standard bedside tables (500-650mm high) without blocking sightlines when seated.
