Description

The Hanok V4 is a 1.2m linear pendant light with an integrated 38W LED module casting 2800 lumens of 4000K cool white light through a frosted diffuser. The aluminium body measures 1200mm long by 48mm wide, finished in matt white powder coat, and suspends on adjustable cables between 100mm and 1600mm from the ceiling rose.

Designed for kitchen islands, office desks, reception counters and studio workbenches where clean task lighting is needed over a defined linear work surface, the Hanok delivers directional downlight through a 45° beam angle. The 1.2m length typically covers a 1.4-1.6m island or desk without overspill, and the 4000K colour temperature suits environments where accurate colour rendering matters, kitchens, studios, retail counters and commercial offices. The 100-1600mm drop adjustment allows the fitting to be set 600-900mm above a worktop depending on ceiling height.

The matt white finish on the aluminium body keeps the fitting visually recessive in white or light-toned ceilings while reflecting ambient light back into the room rather than absorbing it. The frosted diffuser prevents visible LED hotspots and spreads the 2800lm output evenly along the 1.2m length. At 2.8kg the fitting requires secure ceiling fixings, and the non-dimmable driver runs directly from 220-240V mains without requiring external control gear.

No. The integrated LED driver operates at fixed output from 220-240V mains and is not compatible with dimmer switches or external control systems.

What length island or desk does the 1.2m fitting suit?

The 1200mm light length typically covers a 1.4-1.6m kitchen island, desk or counter without overspill. For longer surfaces, the Hanok is available in 900mm, 1200mm and 1500mm variants, use the longer fittings for islands above 1.8m.

What's the recommended hanging height above a worktop?

For kitchen islands and desks, suspend the fitting 600-900mm above the work surface. Lower heights (600-700mm) concentrate light and suit food preparation zones; higher positions (800-900mm) reduce glare for seated work and suit dining tables or reception counters.

Can the suspension height be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The cables run through the ceiling rose and can be shortened or lengthened during installation between the 100mm minimum and 1600mm maximum drop. Once installed, changing the height requires accessing the ceiling rose and re-threading the cables.
