Description

The Halo is a 78cm wall-mounted LED light fixture built from matt black aluminium bars arranged in an intersecting geometric pattern. The integrated 24W LED sits behind the central junction of the horizontal and vertical bars, casting light forwards and upwards across the wall surface while the bars themselves create shadow lines that shift as the viewing angle changes.

Designed for accent and feature wall lighting in living rooms, hallways, bedroom headboards and commercial reception areas, the Halo provides indirect ambient light rather than task lighting. The colour temperature is adjustable between 3000K warm white and 4000K neutral white, controlled via a compatible dimmer switch (sold separately). This allows the same fixture to provide warmer evening ambience or cooler daytime light without changing bulbs. The 9.5cm projection from the wall keeps the fitting close to the surface while the 68cm width gives presence on larger wall expanses.

The matt black aluminium finish resists fingerprints and softens reflections under direct light, making it suitable for both dark accent walls and lighter neutral backgrounds. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor environments only. The integrated LED eliminates the need for bulb replacement and draws 24W on 220-240V mains, providing approximately 2,000-2,400 lumens depending on colour temperature setting.

How is the colour temperature adjusted?

The Halo requires a compatible smart dimmer or CCT (correlated colour temperature) controller to adjust between 3000K and 4000K. The fitting itself does not include an onboard switch for colour temperature selection.

Is this dimmable with standard dimmers?

The integrated LED is dimmable, but compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model. LED-compatible trailing-edge dimmers typically work best with integrated LED fittings. Please confirm compatibility with the dimmer manufacturer before installation.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is not protected against moisture or water ingress and must only be installed in dry indoor environments. For bathrooms, look for fittings rated IP44 or higher.

How is it mounted?

The Halo mounts to a standard wall back plate via two fixing points concealed behind the central junction of the bars. The fixing plate is included and the mains cable runs through the wall or along the surface depending on installation method.
