Description

The Halo is an 80cm linear suspension light built from a brass-finished aluminium frame with an integrated 10W LED strip running the length of the bar. The LED is dimmable and offers adjustable colour temperature between 2600K and 3500K, allowing the light to shift from warm amber to soft white depending on the setting. A cylindrical brass canopy at one end houses the suspension cable and power supply.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and office desks where linear task lighting is needed, the Halo provides direct downward illumination across its 80cm span. The suspension height is adjustable between 36.7cm and 316.7cm from the ceiling, giving flexibility to hang the fitting close to a worktop or higher over a table depending on ceiling height and intended use. The IP20 rating limits installation to dry interior spaces.

The brass finish on the aluminium extrusion provides a warm metallic accent that pairs with mid-century, contemporary and transitional interiors. The narrow 1.7cm width of the bar keeps the fitting visually light despite its 80cm length, so it reads as a line of light rather than a heavy fixture. The colour temperature adjustment is controlled via a compatible dimmer switch (sold separately) and allows the same fitting to provide warm ambient light for evening dining or cooler task light for daytime work.

The 80cm length works over tables between 120cm and 160cm long when centred above the surface. For longer tables a second Halo in parallel or a larger linear fitting may provide more even coverage.

Can the suspension height be adjusted after installation?

Yes, provided access to the ceiling rose remains available. The cable can be shortened or lengthened during installation between the 36.7cm minimum and 316.7cm maximum heights. Once fitted and the canopy secured, adjustment requires removing the canopy and re-setting the cable length.

Is the LED replaceable?

The LED is integrated into the aluminium bar and is not designed to be user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000 hours of operation, which translates to around 10-15 years of typical domestic use at 4-6 hours per day.
