Description

The Halcyra is a 40cm diameter flush-mount LED ceiling light with an integrated 26W LED panel and a white polycarbonate diffuser that sits 40mm below the ceiling. The light carries an IP44 rating, meaning it resists splashing water from any direction and can be installed in bathrooms, covered porches, or under canopies where direct rain exposure does not occur.

The integrated LED offers switchable colour temperature between 3000K warm white and 4000K cool white, toggled by turning the light off and on again at the wall switch. This allows the same fitting to deliver warm light in a living space or brighter, cooler task light in a utility room or garage without needing separate circuits or controls. The flush profile makes the Halcyra suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or lower where pendant lights would intrude on headroom.

The white polycarbonate body and diffuser give a clean, neutral appearance that pairs with both modern and traditional interiors. The 40cm diameter provides general illumination for rooms up to approximately 10-12m², including bathrooms, small bedrooms, hallways, and covered outdoor areas such as entrance porches or carports. The diffuser distributes light evenly without visible LED hotspots.

Yes, but only in covered outdoor locations such as porches, carports, or under canopies where the fitting is protected from direct rainfall. The IP44 rating resists splashing water but does not protect against sustained exposure or submersion.

How do you change between 3000K and 4000K?

The colour temperature is toggled by switching the light off and back on at the wall switch. Each power cycle switches between warm white (3000K) and cool white (4000K). There is no separate control or remote.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED module is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The 5-year warranty covers LED failure, and typical LED lifespan exceeds 25,000 hours.

What ceiling fixing is required?

The Halcyra mounts directly to a standard UK ceiling rose or junction box. The 1400mm cable length allows for flexible positioning during installation, with excess cable tucked into the ceiling void.
