Description
The Haddon is a single light flush ceiling light finished in aged brass, its glass shade sitting directly beneath a compact ceiling mount that sits snugly against the ceiling itself. It projects 33.5cm down from the ceiling and takes one E27 lamp, rated up to 10W, so it works as a straightforward, single-point light rather than a multi-arm fitting. Brass and glass make up the build, giving it a plain, honest character rather than anything ornate or overly decorative.
Being a flush fitting, the Haddon sits tight to the ceiling and suits rooms where a pendant would hang too low, landings, box rooms, walk-in wardrobes, utility rooms or a small hallway among them. A single E27 lamp gives one central point of light, which suits a smaller room well or works as a secondary light in a larger space alongside other fittings, such as wall lights or a floor lamp. It's an easy way to bring a touch of traditional brass into a room without taking up any real headroom or requiring extra clearance below.
We finish it in aged brass, a warm, slightly muted tone that sits happily alongside wood, cream walls or other brass fittings in the room, and it won't show fingermarks the way a bright, polished finish can. Keep it clean with a dry, soft cloth, and avoid household cleaning sprays, which can dull the brass and mark the glass shade over time. It takes a standard E27 lamp, which is not included, so you're free to choose your own, and it sits within our wider Haddon range if you'd like to carry the same aged brass finish into other rooms of the home.

Frequently Asked
What size room suits the Haddon?
As a single light flush fitting, it's best suited to smaller spaces, landings, hallways, box rooms or a walk-in wardrobe, rather than a large open room needing wide light coverage.
What bulb does the Haddon take, and is it included?
It takes one E27 lamp, rated up to 10W, and the lamp isn't included, so you can choose your own. A warm white LED lamp in E27 fits well and keeps energy use down.
How far down from the ceiling does it sit?
It projects 33.5cm, so it stays close to the ceiling rather than hanging low, which makes it a good option for rooms with lower ceilings or where headroom is tight.
Is the Haddon suitable for a bathroom?
It's rated IP20, which is designed for dry, everyday rooms, so it isn't intended for bathrooms or other areas exposed to moisture.
How do I care for the aged brass finish?
Dust it with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or polishes, which can strip back the aged patina and leave the brass looking patchy.
