The Habana is a round floor lamp shade in white woven fabric, measuring 30cm at the top ring, 35cm at the base ring and 25cm tall. The shade fits standard floor lamp fittings with a European-style duplex ring connector, wrapping the bulb in a translucent white fabric that diffuses direct light into ambient fill.

Designed as a replacement or upgrade shade for existing floor lamps, the Habana suits reading lamps, corner uplighters and tall column floor lamps in living rooms, bedrooms and home offices. The 35cm base diameter provides enough spread to soften the light from 60-100W equivalent LED bulbs without creating glare, while the 25cm height gives vertical coverage that balances the proportions of a 1.2-1.6m tall floor lamp base.

The white fabric is a fine plain weave, tighter than hessian but more open than cotton sateen, which allows light to pass through while concealing the bulb outline. The shade weighs 0.4kg including the metal frame, light enough to sit securely on most floor lamp fittings without needing additional support clips. The round profile creates even light distribution in all directions, making it suitable for open-plan spaces where the lamp is visible from multiple angles.

Will this fit my existing floor lamp?

The Habana uses a European duplex ring fitting (top and bottom metal rings with a vertical support). This is the standard fitting for most floor lamps sold in the UK and Europe. If your existing shade lifts off to reveal two metal rings at top and base, this shade will fit.

What wattage bulb can I use?

The shade accepts bulbs up to 60W incandescent equivalent. Most users pair this with a 9-15W LED bulb in the 800-1500 lumen range for comfortable reading or ambient lighting. The white fabric diffuses light well at these brightness levels without showing hot spots.

How is the shade cleaned?

Use a soft brush attachment on a vacuum cleaner set to low suction, or a lint roller for surface dust. For marks, spot-clean gently with a barely-damp white cloth and allow to air-dry fully before re-installing on the lamp. Do not machine-wash or submerge the shade.
