Description

The Grantham is a bold mid-century pendant that arranges ten matt opal glass spheres on slim arms around a central telescopic stem. Each sphere sits on an adjustable arm, so you can angle the heads to spread the light or gather it, and the matt opal duplex glass gives a soft, even glow with no harsh glare. The frame spans 950mm across in brushed aged brass effect metalwork and takes ten G9 lamps. It is a wide, architectural fitting made to fill a large space.

This extra-large pendant suits open-plan rooms, tall entrance halls and large dining or living spaces where a wide, low-domed shape can be appreciated from below. The ten opal spheres read as a cluster of soft lights, giving a warm, ambient glow across a big room. Its mid-century lines make it a good fit for both retro-inspired and modern schemes that want a real centrepiece overhead.

The metalwork is brushed aged brass effect and the spheres are matt opal duplex glass, a pairing that keeps the light soft and the finish warm. The telescopic stem adjusts the height from 523mm to 891mm, so it drops less than a chain fitting and suits rooms where you want it closer to the ceiling. It is a Class 1 fitting, so it needs an earth and is best installed by a qualified electrician, and the IP20 rating keeps it to dry indoor rooms.
