Description

The Glorion is a 300mm conical pendant light made from powder-coated metal finished in matt black on the exterior, with a white-painted interior surface that reflects light downwards. The shade tapers from a 300mm diameter opening at the base to a narrow apex, where it meets a black fabric-covered cable and powder-coated metal ceiling rose. The single E27 fitting inside the cone accepts bulbs up to 60W (sold separately).

Designed for kitchens, dining areas and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Glorion works as a solo pendant over a small dining table or breakfast bar, or in a run of three or five over a kitchen island. The 2000mm cable can be shortened on installation to set the shade 700-900mm above a worksurface or 650-750mm above a dining table. The white interior of the cone directs light downwards while reducing glare when viewed from standing height.

The matt black finish absorbs ambient light rather than reflecting it, which makes the fitting recede visually during the day and become more prominent when lit in the evening. The conical profile is proportioned to suit ceilings between 2.4m and 3m without overwhelming the space — the 270mm height of the shade gives enough depth to house an exposed filament bulb without the lamp source dominating the view from below. The fabric-covered cable softens the profile compared to a bare flex and carries the black finish from ceiling to shade without a visual break.
