Description

The Gloriana is a 30cm diameter outdoor sphere light with a melange grey and white plastic diffuser that mimics the speckled appearance of natural granite. The globe sits directly on the ground via an included steel stake, which allows it to be positioned in soil, gravel or grass without a fixed base. A single E27 bulb inside the diffuser (sold separately) casts ambient light through the textured surface.

Designed for garden borders, pathway edges, patio perimeters and lawn features, the Gloriana provides low-level accent lighting rather than functional path illumination. The IP44 rating allows the light to withstand rain and splashes but it should not be submerged or positioned where water pools. The 2.15m cable runs from the base of the sphere to a standard 3-pin UK plug, requiring an outdoor socket or weatherproof extension lead.

The white and grey mottled finish softens the hard geometry of the sphere and blends with stone paving, gravel beds and planted borders. At 285mm height when staked, the light sits below typical garden furniture seat height, making it visible underfoot without dominating sightlines across a patio or lawn. The dimmable E27 socket accepts LED, halogen or filament bulbs up to the manufacturer's wattage limit, allowing control over brightness and colour temperature to suit the season or occasion.
