Description

The Gloara is an 80cm outdoor bollard light built from powder-coated black metal with a circular 205mm-diameter head housing a white plastic diffuser. Four G9 bulbs (sold separately) sit behind the diffuser, directing light downward to illuminate pathways, driveways and garden borders without causing upward glare or light pollution.

Designed for residential gardens, commercial pathways and hospitality outdoor spaces, the 80cm height places the light source above typical ground-level planting while remaining below eye level for most adults. The downward light pattern creates pools of illumination along pathways without flooding adjacent planting beds or neighbouring properties with unwanted spill. The bollard mounts directly into the ground on a buried base plate or into a paved surface via a mounting kit, with cable entry through the base of the column.

The IP44 rating protects the lamp against solid objects larger than 1mm and water splashes from any direction, making the Gloara suitable for year-round outdoor installation in the UK climate. The powder-coated black finish resists corrosion and UV degradation better than painted alternatives. The G9 bulbs are dimmable when paired with a compatible outdoor dimmer, allowing light levels to be adjusted for different times of evening or seasonal daylight changes.
