Description

The Gloara is a 60cm outdoor bollard light with a cylindrical brown powder-coated metal body and a flat disc top housing a white plastic diffuser. The fitting takes four G9 bulbs (sold separately) and is rated IP44 for dust and water splash protection, making it suitable for garden paths, patios, driveways and terraces exposed to typical UK weather conditions.

Designed as pathway and boundary lighting, the Gloara casts light downward through the diffuser to illuminate the ground immediately around the bollard, marking edges of paths and providing low-level visibility without producing glare at eye level. The 60cm height positions the light source below typical adult eye height when walking, reducing discomfort from direct light. The brown powder-coat finish blends with earthy garden tones and pairs comfortably with timber fencing, terracotta paving and planted borders.

The 205mm diameter disc top prevents rain from entering the lamp body while the screen inside the white diffuser distributes light evenly across the downward cone. Installation requires ground-mounting with a spike or base plate (check regional installation standards for buried cabling and outdoor electrical work).
