Description

The Glistis is a 290mm diameter LED wall light built around three concentric brass-plated metal rings that overlap at different depths, creating a spiral composition when viewed from the front. An integrated 28W LED sits behind an opal rubber diffuser at the centre, casting 3000K warm-white light outward through the rings and creating a soft halo against the wall.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and hallways where ambient wall lighting is needed without glare, the Glistis projects 300mm from the wall when fitted. The offset ring arrangement means the fitting works best at eye level or above, where the depth variation between the rings can be read as sculptural rather than purely functional. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations.

The brass plating over the metal frame gives a warm metallic tone that sits between polished brass and brushed brass in reflectivity, pairing comfortably with both traditional brass fittings and contemporary warm-metal accents. The opal diffuser prevents direct view of the LED source and softens the light distribution, avoiding hard shadows or bright spots on the wall surface. The 28W output and 3000K colour temperature provide ambient rather than task-level illumination.

Ideal Lux manufactures the Glistis in Italy. The fitting is not dimmable and requires a standard UK wall fixing with mains wiring terminated behind the backplate. A 5-year warranty covers manufacturing defects.
