Description

The Glistis is a 600mm diameter LED semi-flush ceiling light with two intersecting circular metal hoops finished in powder-coated black, rising from a central black canopy. An integrated 48W 3000K LED sits behind an opal rubber diffuser panel inset within the lower hoop, casting warm white light downward and across the hoop structure. The 180mm projection from ceiling to base allows the fitting to work in rooms with standard 2.4m ceiling heights without intruding into headspace.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways where a contemporary semi-flush fitting is needed, the Glistis provides ambient room lighting rather than focused task light. The 48W output at 3000K sits in the warm white spectrum and suits interiors where soft, inviting light is preferred over clinical bright white. The IP20 rating confirms indoor-only use, suitable for dry areas but not for bathrooms or wet locations. The fitting mounts directly onto a standard UK ceiling rose using the supplied fixing bracket.

The metal construction and black powder-coated finish give the Glistis durability in residential and light commercial settings, and the matt black surface reduces glare from direct sightlines. Is the Glistis dimmable?

No. The integrated LED runs at a fixed 48W output on standard 230V mains and is not compatible with dimmer switches.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 180mm projection from ceiling to base suits rooms with 2.4m ceiling heights or above. Lower ceilings can still accommodate the Glistis but the fitting will sit closer to head height when standing directly beneath it.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating confirms indoor dry-location use only. For bathrooms or other wet areas, an IP44 or higher rating is required.

What colour is the light output?

The integrated LED is 3000K, which sits in the warm white spectrum. This gives a soft, inviting light similar to traditional incandescent bulbs rather than the cooler daylight tones of 4000K or 6500K LEDs.
