Description

The Gleonis is a 10cm flush wall light with a matt white painted metal frame and a polycarbonate diffuser carrying a paper-effect coating. A single G9 bulb (sold separately) sits behind the diffuser, casting light outward across the wall and into the room. The flush mount sits tight against the wall with no visible projection beyond the 10cm-diameter face.

Designed for hallways, landings, bedrooms and bathrooms (zone 3 only — IP20 rating), the Gleonis works as primary lighting in small spaces like cloakrooms or as accent lighting paired with ceiling fittings in larger rooms. The 10cm diameter makes it small enough to mount above a door frame, beside a mirror, or as one of a pair flanking a bed head without overwhelming the wall. The flush design suits low ceilings and narrow corridors where a projecting wall bracket would intrude.

The polycarbonate diffuser softens the light output and hides the bulb filament or LED chips from direct view, reducing glare when the fitting is mounted at head height. The matt white finish blends into white or light-painted walls without creating a strong visual contrast. Ideal Lux manufactures the Gleonis in Italy and backs it with a 5-year warranty.

The Gleonis uses a single G9 bulb, sold separately. Most users pair this with a 3-5W LED G9 bulb in warm white (2700K-3000K) for general ambient light, or a higher-output 7-9W LED where brighter task lighting is needed.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when fitted with a dimmable G9 bulb and paired with a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting itself supports dimming, but the final dimming performance depends on the bulb and dimmer combination.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

The Gleonis carries an IP20 rating, which means it is suitable for bathroom zone 3 only (more than 600mm from the bath or shower). It is not rated for use in zones 0, 1 or 2 where water contact is more likely.

The Gleonis is a flush-mount fitting, so it sits tight against the wall with minimal projection. The total depth including the mounting plate is approximately 50-60mm, most of which sits within the wall cavity or mounting surface.
