Description

The Gleara is a 280mm diameter LED pendant light built around a central white tubular diffuser flanked by two glossy white glass discs and two transparent grey blown glass spheres, stacked vertically on a matt white metal rod. An integrated 34W LED inside the diffuser provides 3000K warm white light distributed evenly through the opaque white glass tube.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and central bedroom positions, the Gleara combines ambient room light with a mid-century inspired silhouette. The 687mm vertical height from canopy to base works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, with a 2000mm transparent PVC cable allowing the drop to be adjusted during installation. The white metal canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses and conceals the cable entry.

The blown glass spheres and discs are hand-made by Ideal Lux in Italy, so each piece shows slight variation in size and tone — particularly in the grey glass spheres, where the transparency and tint vary depending on the glass batch. The combined weight of the metal rod, glass elements and LED module gives the fitting a solid presence on the cable. The 34W output suits rooms up to 15-18m² where the pendant is the primary light source, or larger rooms where it provides accent lighting alongside ceiling spots or wall lights.
