Description

The Glacia is a 1200mm linear ceiling canopy with five pendant outlets, finished in matt black. Designed by Ideal Lux, the canopy provides a single ceiling fixing point for multi-pendant installations, replacing the need for five separate ceiling roses and allowing pendants to be suspended in a straight line from a single metal bar.

Suited to dining tables, kitchen islands and bar counters measuring 1.8-2.4m long, the canopy accepts up to five pendant cables, each fed through one of the pre-drilled outlet points along its length. The 70mm projection means the canopy sits low against the ceiling, keeping the installation compact in rooms with standard 2.4m ceiling heights. Each outlet accepts standard UK pendant cable with up to 10mm sheath diameter.

The metal body measures 1200mm × 70mm and weighs approximately 1.2kg, providing structural support for multi-pendant arrangements without requiring additional bracing on plasterboard ceilings. The matt black finish has a fine powder-coat texture that minimises fingerprint visibility during installation and pairs with black fabric cable, black metalwork pendants, and industrial or contemporary interiors.
