Description

The Glacia is a 110mm recessed magnetic ceiling rose in white-painted metal, designed to sit flush with the ceiling surface while providing a magnetic attachment point for pendant lights. The recessed profile keeps the rose hidden above the ceiling line, leaving only the pendant cable and canopy visible below.

Designed for installation into plasterboard ceilings with cavity space above, the Glacia uses a magnetic attachment system that allows pendant lights to be swapped or repositioned without rewiring. The pendant canopy sits against the ceiling surface and is held in place by the magnet above, eliminating visible fixings and giving a cleaner finish than traditional screw-fixed ceiling roses. The 110mm diameter accommodates standard UK pendant cable and wiring.

The white metal finish matches most ceiling paint tones and disappears into the ceiling surface once installed. The recessed fitting requires a minimum 80mm cavity depth above the ceiling to accommodate the rose body and electrical connections. The magnetic connection provides a secure hold for lightweight to medium-weight pendants up to approximately 3kg, though exact load capacity depends on the strength of the magnet and the pendant canopy design.
