Description

The Maytoni Gala is a 10W LED magnetic track spotlight with adjustable colour temperature from 2700K warm white to 6000K cool white, housed in a black aluminium body with a rotating lens system and telescopic projection mechanism. The spotlight clips onto a 48V DC magnetic track rail (sold separately) and draws power directly from the rail once fitted, eliminating the need for separate wiring to each head.

Designed for gallery, retail, museum and residential accent lighting, the Gala suits applications where light needs to be repositioned frequently or where beam angle and colour temperature need adjusting for different displays or seasons. The telescopic lens mechanism adjusts the beam angle from 20° to 35°, narrowing to spotlight individual objects or widening to wash a larger surface. The rotating lens also shifts the projection between sharp-edged definition and soft-blurred boundaries, giving control over how the lit area appears against surrounding surfaces.

The condenser glass lens inside the head distributes light uniformly across the entire projection surface, reducing hot-spotting and glare when the spotlight is aimed at reflective or textured materials. The black aluminium body measures 19.3cm in length with a 4.4cm diameter head and rotates 350° on the magnetic mount, allowing the beam to be aimed in nearly any direction once clipped onto the track. The spotlight is dimmable when paired with a compatible 48V DC dimmer on the track power supply.

The Gala carries an IP20 rating, restricting use to dry indoor environments. The magnetic mount clips and unclips without tools, making it straightforward to reposition heads along the track or swap them out for maintenance. Maytoni backs the fitting with a 5-year warranty.
