Description

The Fuerteventura is a 600mm wall-mounted coat rack combining four coat hooks, an upper shelf, and an integrated 9W LED light bar running the full width of the fitting. The matt black metal frame houses a diffused LED strip delivering 600 lumens at 3000K warm white, providing ambient light in hallways and entrance areas while the hooks and shelf handle storage duties.

Designed for entryways, hall corridors and compact flats where wall space must serve multiple functions, the Fuerteventura mounts at typical coat-rack height (approximately 1.6-1.8m from floor) using two concealed fixings. The four hooks sit below the shelf and LED bar, spaced at approximately 120mm intervals, suitable for coats, bags, scarves and umbrellas. The upper shelf holds keys, phones, post and small items that would otherwise end up on a console table.

The integrated LED draws 9W on 100-250V mains and delivers a 120° beam angle, which spreads light horizontally along the wall rather than projecting it forwards into the room. The matt black powder-coated finish absorbs rather than reflects light, making the fitting itself visually recessive while the LED output provides functional illumination for finding coats and checking pockets before leaving the house. The 2.7kg weight requires secure wall fixings into masonry or stud-backed plasterboard.

Is the LED dimmable?

No. The integrated LED operates at a fixed 9W output and is not compatible with dimmer switches. It either operates at full 600 lumens or is switched off.

How is it wired?

The Fuerteventura requires a permanent mains connection on 100-250V, typically wired into an existing hallway lighting circuit. It is not plug-and-play. Installation should be carried out by a competent electrician.

What weight can the hooks support?

There is no specified per-hook weight limit. The fitting itself weighs 2.7kg and must be securely fixed to masonry or stud-backed plasterboard. Assuming proper installation, each hook should comfortably handle a winter coat, bag or umbrella.

Can the shelf hold picture frames or small plants?
