Description

The Fort smart alarm remote control is a wireless 4-button keyfob designed to arm, disarm and control ESP smart alarm systems from outside the property or on approach. The four buttons provide arm, disarm, home mode and SOS panic trigger functions, giving one-touch control of the alarm system without needing to access the main control panel or mobile app.

Designed to attach to a keyring via the integrated loop fitting, the remote suits residential properties, small offices and retail units where multiple users need access to arm and disarm the system. The compact 85mm length fits comfortably in a pocket or bag, and the raised button design allows operation by feel without needing to look at the keyfob. Each button is clearly labelled with lock, home and SOS icons.

The remote operates on wireless RF communication with ESP smart alarm control panels, pairing to the system during installation. The matt black polymer case weighs just 13g and is designed to withstand typical keyring wear including drops onto hard surfaces and exposure to pocket contents. Battery life depends on usage frequency, with the CR2032 coin cell battery user-replaceable when depleted.

Frequently Asked

Which ESP alarm systems is this remote compatible with?

The Fort remote is designed for ESP smart alarm control panels. Consult the product manual or contact ESP technical support to confirm compatibility with your specific control panel model before purchase.

How many remotes can be paired to one alarm system?

ESP smart alarm panels typically support multiple paired remotes, allowing each household member or authorised user to have their own keyfob. The exact limit depends on the control panel model — see your panel's manual for the maximum number of supported devices.

What does the SOS button do?

The SOS button triggers a panic alarm signal to the control panel, which can be configured to send alerts to your mobile app, monitoring service or designated contacts. This function is designed for emergency situations where silent or audible panic activation is needed.

How is the battery replaced?

The remote uses a CR2032 coin cell battery. The case opens via a small screw or clip mechanism to access the battery compartment — full instructions are in the product manual linked above. Typical battery life is 1-2 years depending on usage frequency.
