Description

The Fort ECSPKY is a wireless alarm keypad designed to work with ESP Fort smart alarm systems. The 148mm tall white keypad features a 16-button layout including digits 0-9, lock/unlock buttons, home mode, panic button and SOS function. The keypad communicates wirelessly with the Fort alarm hub, allowing users to arm, disarm and manage the system without relying solely on a smartphone app.

Designed for wall-mounting near entry doors or in hallways, the keypad provides physical control of the alarm system for family members who prefer buttons over apps, or as a backup when phones are unavailable. The compact 93mm width and 23mm depth keep the profile slim against the wall. The keypad includes dedicated buttons for home mode (arm perimeter sensors only) and panic mode (trigger immediate alarm), giving quick access to common scenarios without navigating app menus.

The white finish integrates cleanly with standard residential interiors. The keypad weighs 140g and runs on battery power (battery type and life detailed in the manual linked below). The wireless connection to the Fort hub eliminates the need for wiring runs, making retrofit installation straightforward in existing properties. The keypad pairs with the Fort system during initial setup and each button press provides feedback to confirm the system has received the command.

Frequently Asked

Is this keypad compatible with other alarm systems?

No. The ECSPKY keypad is designed specifically for ESP Fort smart alarm systems and uses proprietary wireless protocols. It will not pair with other manufacturers' alarm hubs or control panels.

How is the keypad powered?

The keypad runs on battery power, eliminating the need for mains wiring. Battery type, expected life and low-battery warnings are detailed in the product manual linked in the Downloads tab above.

What is the wireless range?

Wireless range depends on building construction and interference from other devices. For typical residential installations, the keypad should maintain a reliable connection when installed within 10-15 metres of the Fort hub, provided there are no significant metal obstructions or thick masonry walls between the two.

Can multiple keypads be used with one system?

Yes. The Fort system supports multiple keypads, allowing one to be positioned near the front door and another near a garage or side entrance. Each keypad is paired to the hub during setup.
