Description

The Focus T is a 6W LED magnetic track spotlight housed in a cylindrical black aluminium body measuring 255mm long and 30mm in diameter. The spotlight clips magnetically onto a compatible track system running 48V DC low-voltage power, allowing it to be repositioned along the track length without tools or re-wiring. The integrated 6W LED casts warm 3000K light through a reflector at the head.

Designed for accent lighting in residential and commercial interiors, the Focus T suits gallery walls, retail displays, kitchen worktop zones, and anywhere directed light needs to adapt over time. The magnetic mounting means spotlights can be moved to highlight different objects, adjusted for seasonal displays, or removed entirely for redecorating without leaving unused wiring. The track system itself is surface-mounted to ceilings or walls, typically in runs of 1m, 2m or 3m depending on room layout.

The aluminium construction and matt black powder-coat finish give the spotlight a clean profile that recedes visually when off and provides a neutral backdrop when lit. The 48V DC low-voltage supply runs through the track itself, so there are no trailing cables between spotlights. The IP20 rating confirms interior-only use—this spotlight is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor installations. What track system does the Focus T require?

The Focus T clips magnetically onto Maytoni's 48V DC magnetic track system. The track is sold separately in 1m, 2m and 3m lengths and includes a power supply unit. This spotlight is not compatible with standard mains-voltage track lighting systems.

Can the spotlight be repositioned after installation?

Yes. The magnetic mounting allows the spotlight to be moved anywhere along the track length without tools. Simply lift the spotlight off the track and place it in the new position.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The 6W 3000K LED is integrated into the spotlight body and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for 25,000+ hours of operation, which equates to approximately 10 years of typical domestic use at 6-8 hours per day.

Can the Focus T be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the spotlight is suitable for dry interior spaces only. It is not rated for bathroom zones or any environment where moisture is present.
