Description

The Focus is a 168mm square recessed downlight with an integrated 20W LED producing 3000K warm white light, housed in a white aluminium body with an IP20 rating. The square aperture sits flush with the ceiling surface once installed, giving a clean line in modern and minimalist interiors where circular downlights would disrupt the grid.

Designed for living rooms, kitchens, hallways and office spaces with ceiling voids of sufficient depth to house the fitting, the Focus provides general ambient lighting rather than task or accent lighting. The 3000K colour temperature gives a warmer, less clinical tone than daylight-white LEDs, making the fitting more suited to residential and hospitality environments than commercial offices. The recessed installation keeps the ceiling surface uninterrupted and the white finish blends into most plasterboard ceilings.

The aluminium construction keeps the weight low while providing adequate heat dissipation for the integrated 20W LED. The non-dimmable driver means the fitting operates at full output whenever switched on — dimmer compatibility is not available on this model. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor spaces with no moisture exposure, so the Focus is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor installations even under cover.
