Description

The Focus LED track light lens is a 55mm diameter transparent plastic optical component that modifies the beam angle of compatible Maytoni Focus LED track heads to 36°. The lens fits over the existing LED module inside the track head, widening the spread of light from the narrower factory beam to provide broader coverage across floors, walls and merchandise displays.

Designed for retail, hospitality and residential track lighting installations where the standard beam is too focused, the 36° lens suits illuminating display tables, product shelving, gallery walls and general ambient coverage in rooms up to 15-20m². The wider beam reduces the number of track heads needed to cover a given area compared to narrower spot angles, making it useful for open-plan offices, living rooms and café seating areas where even light distribution matters more than accent highlighting.

The transparent plastic construction maintains the colour temperature and lumen output of the original LED module without adding tint or reducing brightness. The 24mm height and 55mm diameter suit standard Focus track head housings, and the lens clips or screws into place depending on the specific track head model. The 2-year warranty covers manufacturing defects but not damage from incorrect installation or incompatible track heads.

The transparent plastic does not add tint or significantly reduce lumen output, but there is minimal light loss (typically 5-8%) from refraction through the optical material compared to the bare LED module.

Can multiple lenses be stacked for different beam angles?

No. Track light lenses are designed to be used one per track head. Stacking multiple lenses can cause overheating, distortion and may void the warranty on both the lens and the track head.
