Description

The Focus is a 12W LED magnetic track spotlight with a cylindrical black aluminium head that clips onto a low-voltage DC 48V magnetic track rail. The integrated LED delivers 4000K natural white light through a recessed anti-glare reflector, casting a focused beam suitable for task lighting or accent highlighting without spill into surrounding areas.

Designed for kitchens, home offices, retail displays and gallery walls, the Focus attaches to the magnetic track without tools and can be repositioned along the rail at any point where magnetic coupling is available. The spotlight head rotates and tilts on its mounting stem, allowing light to be directed onto worktops, artwork, or architectural features from various angles. The 48V DC supply runs through the track itself, so no individual wiring is required for each spotlight.

The black powder-coated aluminium housing dissipates heat efficiently across its 125mm length and 52mm diameter, keeping the LED at optimal operating temperature for the rated 5-year lifespan. The high CRI (colour rendering index) of the 4000K output preserves colour accuracy under the beam, making the Focus suitable for tasks where colour matching matters — fabric selection, food prep, or product photography. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments only.

The magnetic track system allows circuits of spotlights to be built and reconfigured without ceiling re-wiring. Additional Focus units or other compatible magnetic track heads can be added to the same rail up to the track's maximum load rating, typically around 100-150W depending on the track controller used.

Does the Focus need to be wired individually?

No. The Focus clips onto a magnetic track rail that carries 48V DC power along its length. Once the track is installed and powered, individual spotlights attach magnetically and draw power through the magnetic coupling without additional wiring.

Can the spotlight be repositioned after installation?

Yes. The Focus can be slid along the magnetic track and repositioned at any point where the magnetic field is present. This allows layouts to be adjusted without tools or re-wiring.

What colour temperature is 4000K?

4000K is a neutral to cool white, often described as natural white. It sits between warm white (2700-3000K) and daylight white (5000K+), and is commonly used in kitchens, offices and retail where task accuracy matters more than ambient warmth.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated into the spotlight head and is not user-replaceable. The unit carries a 5-year warranty, and the LED is rated for the full lifespan of the fitting.
